1. General

This document is an electronic record in terms of the Information Technology Act, 2000 ("IT Act") and the rules made thereunder, and is published in accordance with the provisions of Rule 3(1) of the Information Technology (Intermediaries Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, as amended from time to time ("IT Rules"), which mandates the publishing of rules and regulations, privacy policy, and terms of use for access or usage of the Website and the Application. This electronic record is generated by a computer system and does not require any physical or digital signatures.

These Terms and Conditions / Terms of Service ("Terms" / "TOS") are further published in compliance with the Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Act, 2025 ("Online Gaming Act") and the Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Rules, 2026 ("Online Gaming Rules") framed thereunder.

These Terms, read with the Privacy Policy, disclaimers, and rules of JioBLAST as may be posted on the website having the domain name www.jioblast.com ("Website") and the JioBLAST mobile application platform("Application" or "App"), from time to time, shall govern your use and access of the Website, the Application, their related content, sites, and hyperlinks owned, maintained, and operated by Jio Blast Esports Private Limited, a company incorporated under the Companies Act, 2013, having its registered office at 4th Floor, Court House, Dhobi Talao, Kalbadevi, Mumbai – 400002, Maharashtra, India and/or its Affiliates ("JioBLAST"). The Website and the Application are hereinafter collectively referred to as the "Platform". These Terms apply to all Users of the Platform. Your access to or use of the Platform shall be non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable, and subject to these TOS read with the Privacy Policy.

By accessing or using the Platform, you accept these Terms and the Privacy Policy, and you also accept and agree to be bound by the rules, policies, and other terms of JioBLAST as posted on the Platform from time to time. If you do not agree to be bound by these Terms, please do not access the Platform or avail any Services provided through the Platform.

2. Changes to the Terms

We may change, modify, amend, or update these Terms from time to time by publishing an updated version on the Platform in order to ensure compliance with applicable laws and our internal policies. By continuing to use the Platform, you will be deemed to accept the updated Terms and agree to be bound by them. It shall be your responsibility to verify these Terms each time you access the Platform.

3. Definitions

For the purpose of these Terms:

"Affiliate(s)" shall mean, with respect to JioBLAST, any person directly or indirectly controlling, controlled by, or under direct or indirect common control with JioBLAST, including its subsidiaries and associate companies.

"Agreement" means these Terms, as detailed herein, including all schedules, appendices, annexures, privacy policy, and disclaimers, and will include references to this Agreement as amended, novated, supplemented, varied, or replaced from time to time.

"Application" or "App" means the JioBLAST mobile software application that JioBLAST has permitted you to download, access, and use, and to which these Terms are linked.

"Authority" means the Online Gaming Authority of India established under sub-section (1) of Section 8 of the Online Gaming Act, or such other authority or agency as may be constituted or designated by the Central Government under the Online Gaming Act. 

"Content" shall mean and include all text, graphics, user interfaces, visual interfaces, photographs, trademarks, logos, sounds, music, artwork, computer code, esports content, tournament data, live streams, highlights, broadcast content, and all other digital content collectively, whether generated by JioBLAST or by third-party content providers, esports organisations, game publishers, or tournament operators.

"Customer(s)" or "User(s)" means any person who accesses, downloads, installs, or uses the Platform or any Services offered through the Platform, including any person who registers to participate in, views, or otherwise engages with any Tournament, broadcast Content available through the Platform.

"Device" means and includes any mobile device, tablet, personal computer, smart television, gaming console, set-top box, or any other electronic device on which JioBLAST permits the downloading and use of the Application or the access and use of the Website for the provision of Services.

"Digital Media Ethics Code" / "IT Rules" means the Information Technology (Intermediaries Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, as amended from time to time, including any successor legislation or rules.

"Esports" means competitive skill-based video gaming in an organised format, including but not limited to team-based competitions, individual competitions, leagues, qualifiers, and championship events, conducted online or at physical venues, in respect of one or more games that are legally permissible under applicable law.

"JioBLAST"/ "we"/ "us"/ "our" shall mean Jio Blast Esports Private Limited, a company incorporated under the Companies Act, 2013, having its registered office at 4th Floor, Court House, Dhobi Talao, Kalbadevi, Mumbai – 400002, Maharashtra, India, and/or its Affiliates, service providers, successors, and assigns, wherever the context applies.

"MSISDN" means the Mobile Subscriber Integrated Services Digital Network Number.

"Online Gaming Act" means the Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Act, 2025, as amended from time to time.

"Online Gaming Rules" means the Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Rules, 2026, framed under the Online Gaming Act, as amended from time to time, and includes any directions, orders, guidelines, or codes of practice issued pursuant to the Online Gaming Rules and the Online Gaming Act.

"Platform" shall have the meaning ascribed to it in the recitals to these Terms.

"Privacy Policy" shall mean the Privacy Policy of JioBLAST in connection with the use of the Platform, as may be amended from time to time.

"Service(s)" means all services provided through the Platform, including but not limited to facilitation of online and offline Tournaments, user registration and profile management, provision of tournament-related information and updates, access to live streams, highlights and related media, community engagement initiatives, integration of brand and partner activations, customer support, and implementation of fair play and compliance policies.

"Tournament(s)" means any esports competition, league, qualifier, championship, or related event facilitated or organised through or in connection with the Platform, whether conducted entirely online, entirely at a physical venue, or in a hybrid format.

"Tournament Organiser(s)" means any independent third-party entity that organises, operates, manages, or otherwise conducts a Tournament that is listed, promoted, or facilitated through the Platform.

"Website" means the website operated by JioBLAST at the domain www.jioblast.com, which provides information related to the Services and enables Users to access and avail the Services.

"You" / "Your" shall mean the end user accessing the Platform, its contents, and/or using the Services offered through the Platform.

4. Nature and Role of JioBLAST

JioBLAST is a technology service provider that operates the Platform as an online intermediary within the meaning of Section 2(1)(w) of the IT Act, and in accordance with the IT Rules, the Online Gaming Act, and the Online Gaming Rules. JioBLAST provides a technology platform that facilitates access to Esports Tournaments, content, and community experiences. JioBLAST does not itself develop, publish, or operate any third-party game made available through the Platform, and does not control the gameplay mechanics, algorithms, or software of any such third-party game, unless expressly stated otherwise.

JioBLAST facilitates the listing, registration, and coordination of Tournaments that are organised by independent third-party Tournament Organisers and/or game publishers. Unless expressly stated otherwise by JioBLAST in relation to a specific Tournament, JioBLAST is not itself the organiser, sponsor, promoter, manager or operator of Tournaments made available through the Platform. The relevant Tournament Organiser is solely responsible for the conduct, rules, format, bracket, seeding, scheduling, refereeing, prizes, winner determination, and outcomes of such Tournaments.

In its capacity as an intermediary and technology platform, JioBLAST does not exercise editorial control over Tournament outcomes, gameplay mechanics, or match results of third-party games; does not determine game-specific rules of play, scoring, or winner selection for Tournaments it does not directly organise; and does not select or endorse individual participants or teams.

JioBLAST operates in compliance with the due diligence requirements prescribed for intermediaries under the IT Rules. All claims, disputes, and grievances relating to the conduct, format, fairness, compliance, or outcomes of any Tournament shall, where applicable, be directed to the relevant Tournament Organiser, subject to the grievance redressal mechanism set out herein.

JioBLAST reserves the right, at its sole discretion and without prior notice or liability, to moderate, delist, geoblock, restrict, suspend, or remove any Tournament, Service, Content, or feature from the Platform, or to restrict access to the Platform for Users in any jurisdiction, where JioBLAST determines, acting reasonably, that such action is necessary or advisable for compliance with applicable law, directions from the Authority, partner or app-store requirements, internal risk policies, or the protection of the Platform’s integrity.

FOR THE AVOIDANCE OF DOUBT, JIOBLAST DOES NOT FACILITATE ONLINE -MONEY GAMING, WAGERING, STAKING OR BETTING OF ANY KIND THROUGH THE PLATFORM. ALL COMPETITIVE PARTICIPATION FACILITATED THROUGH THE PLATFORM IS INTENDED TO BE SKILL-BASED ESPORTS COMPETITION AS PER UNDER APPLICABLE LAW.

5. Registration and Account Management

In order to access the Services, including registering for or participating in Tournaments, you will be required to register on the Platform by creating an account. Registration may involve, without limitation, providing your MSISDN (followed by a one-time password), username and password, your name, date of birth, and other personally identifiable information as may be required. JioBLAST may, at any time, require you to provide enhanced verification, including identity documents, KYC documentation, or such other information as may be necessary for fraud prevention, age verification, legal compliance, or payment-linked services.

For the Application, you will be required to download and install the App on your Device and authenticate access through such authentication mechanism as may be prescribed. At the time of installation of the Application, the Application may require your permission to access certain features of your Device, including but not limited to location, storage, camera, microphone, and network information. You acknowledge and agree that such permissions are necessary for the provision of the Services, and that your grant of such permissions constitutes your informed consent. Withdrawal or non-provision of any such permission may result in the unavailability or degradation of certain Services, and JioBLAST shall have no liability to you in such event.

You represent and warrant that all information provided by you during registration and at any time thereafter is true, complete, accurate, and up-to-date. You agree not to submit any particulars that are false, misleading, incomplete, or that you do not have the right or authority to provide. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your account credentials. You acknowledge and agree that JioBLAST shall be entitled to rely upon any activity occurring under your account as having been duly authorised by you.

In order to use and/or register with the Platform, you must be 18 (eighteen) years of age or older, or such other minimum age as may be prescribed under applicable law. If any Tournament or activity on the Platform specifies a higher minimum age for participation, you must comply with such requirement. JioBLAST may implement age verification mechanisms in compliance with the Online Gaming Rules and the IT Rules.

By registering on the Platform, you hereby grant consent to receive communications from us, our Affiliates, or authorised third parties via telephone, SMS, email, push notification, in-app notification, or other electronic means, based on the information furnished by you. You acknowledge that you may opt out of promotional communications at any time through the settings available on the Platform; provided, however, that you may not opt out of mandatory service-related, transactional, or compliance communications.

To use the Services, you will need a Device that meets the system and compatibility requirements for the relevant Services. The performance, quality, and availability of the Services may be affected by your Device, internet connectivity, or software configuration, and JioBLAST shall not be liable for any failure, degradation, interruption, or delay attributable to such factors and JioBLAST shall not be liable for any failure, degradation, interruption or delay in the delivery of the Services attributable to your Device, internet connectivity, software configuration or failure to meet the applicable system requirements. Such system requirements shall be your sole responsibility, and you acknowledge that JioBLAST makes no representation or warranty regarding the compatibility of the Platform with any particular Device, operating system or network configuration. 

6. Services

The availability of any particular Tournament or Service through the Platform is subject to arrangements between JioBLAST and the relevant Tournament Organiser, applicable law, and directions from the Authority. The catalogue of Tournaments and Services available through the Platform may be modified at any time without prior notice. Such inclusion, removal, or modification may be for the purposes of moderation, compliance with law, and on the basis of directions from the Authority, including as issued through general or specific directions or codes of practice.

Certain Tournaments or activities may be subject to additional terms and conditions imposed by the Tournament Organiser or a game publisher (“Tournament Terms”). By registering for or participating in such Tournaments or activities, you agree to comply with such Tournament Terms. Tournament Terms shall govern the specific competition, including rules, format, eligibility, prizes, and dispute resolution within the Tournament, with these Terms serving as the platform-level overlay. In the event of any conflict between these Terms and the Tournament Terms, these Terms shall prevail to the extent of the inconsistency, unless the Tournament Terms expressly state otherwise with our prior written approval. Decisions of Tournament Organisers and their appointed officials in relation to the conduct and outcomes of a Tournament shall not create any obligation or liability on the part of JioBLAST.

7. Tournament Participation

By registering for a Tournament through the Platform, and subject to applicable law and the terms of the relevant Tournament, you agree to:

• Comply with the specific rules, format, and code of conduct applicable to such Tournament, as published by the Tournament Organiser or JioBLAST;

• Participate in good faith and refrain from any form of cheating, match-fixing, collusion, exploitation of software vulnerabilities, or any other conduct that undermines the integrity of competitive play;

• Accept the results and decisions of Tournament Organisers and referees as final, subject to any formal dispute mechanism established for the Tournament; and

• Comply with all applicable laws including state specific laws, including the Online Gaming Act, the Online Gaming Rules, and any directions from the Authority.

• Not promote gambling in any form or manner and report any such incident to JioBLAST at the earliest opportunity.

JioBLAST reserves the right to disqualify a User from any Tournament, void any participation or results, suspend or terminate the User's account, and take such other action as may be appropriate, if the User is found to have violated the rules of any Tournament, these Terms, or applicable law.

Participation in Tournaments may be subject to entry requirements, eligibility criteria, or regional restrictions as may be specified by the Tournament Organiser or JioBLAST. JioBLAST makes no representation or warranty that a User will be eligible to participate in any particular Tournament.

To the extent that any Tournament conducted through the Platform involves prize money or awards, the terms governing prizes, including eligibility, determination of winners, prize distribution, and applicable tax obligations, shall be as specified in the rules of the relevant Tournament. All tax liabilities, including withholding tax, reporting obligations, and compliance with applicable tax laws in relation to any prize or award, shall be the sole responsibility of the recipient. JioBLAST shall not be liable for any failure by a Tournament Organiser to distribute prizes in accordance with such rules. For the avoidance of doubt, JioBLAST does not act as trustee, custodian, or escrow agent of any prize money or funds.

PARTICIPATION IN TOURNAMENTS IS SUBJECT TO APPLICABLE LAW IN THE USER'S STATE OR TERRITORY OF RESIDENCE. USERS FROM STATES THAT HAVE ENACTED SPECIFIC LEGISLATION GOVERNING ONLINE GAMING OR SKILL-BASED COMPETITIONS (INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO SIKKIM, NAGALAND, TELANGANA, AND ANDHRA PRADESH) ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR DETERMINING WHETHER THEIR PARTICIPATION IS LAWFUL UNDER APPLICABLE STATE LAW. JIOBLAST MAKES NO REPRESENTATION REGARDING THE APPLICABILITY OR ENFORCEABILITY OF STATE-LEVEL GAMING LEGISLATION IN THE CONTEXT OF SKILL-BASED ESPORTS COMPETITION GOVERNED BY THE ONLINE GAMING ACT, 2025.

8. Content and Viewing Experiences

The Platform may provide access to live streams, match highlights, replays, commentary, and other Tournament-related media ("Broadcast Content"). Access to certain Broadcast Content may be subject to subscription fees, pay-per-view charges, or other payment requirements as may be specified on the Platform. For the avoidance of doubt, any subscription fee, pay-per-view charge, or other payment for access to Broadcast Content constitutes payment for media viewing services only and does not constitute participation in any Tournament.

All Broadcast Content is provided for personal, non-commercial viewing only. You must not record, reproduce, redistribute, rebroadcast, or otherwise exploit any Broadcast Content without the prior written consent of JioBLAST or the relevant rights holder.

JioBLAST does not warrant the uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free availability of any Broadcast Content. Live streams and event coverage are subject to technical factors, network conditions, third-party broadcast arrangements, and other variables beyond JioBLAST's control. JioBLAST shall not be liable for any failure, delay, or interruption in the availability of Broadcast Content.

9. Community Engagement and Creator Activities

The Platform may offer community features, including forums, social feeds, creator channels, campaigns, polls, and fan engagement activities. You agree to engage with such features in a respectful and lawful manner and in compliance with these Terms.

JioBLAST may, from time to time, run promotions, challenges, giveaways, or creator-led campaigns in connection with Tournaments or Platform activities. Such promotions shall be governed by their own specific terms and conditions as published at the time of the promotion and shall be subject to applicable law. Participation in any such promotion is voluntary and JioBLAST shall not be liable for any claims arising from promotions conducted by third-party creators or partners.

Brand and partner activations integrated within Tournament broadcasts or Platform experiences are commercial arrangements between JioBLAST and the relevant brands or partners. Such activations do not constitute an endorsement by JioBLAST of any brand, product, or service featured therein.

10. User-Generated Content and Feedback

We may allow you to post, upload, or otherwise make available content, feedback, reviews, gameplay clips, or other material via the Platform ("Your Content"). You represent and warrant that Your Content: (a) is true, accurate, and not misleading; (b) does not belong to any third party without their consent and does not infringe any intellectual property rights, rights of privacy, or other proprietary rights of any person; (c) is not defamatory, obscene, harmful, hateful, inflammatory, or otherwise unlawful or contrary to public policy; (d) does not violate any applicable law, including the IT Act, the Online Gaming Act, or any other legislation; and (e) does not contain any virus, malware, or harmful code. JioBLAST does not endorse, verify, or assume responsibility for Your Content and acts solely as an intermediary in respect of such content.

For Your Content, you hereby grant us a non-exclusive, irrevocable, perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, transferable licence to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, or communicate to the public Your Content for the purposes of our business, and the right to sub-licence those rights to our Affiliates. You also consent to any act or omission that would otherwise infringe any of your rights (including moral rights) in Your Content.

You warrant that you have the right to grant the above licence and that our exercise of the licence rights will not infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party, and that the content is neither defamatory nor in breach of any law. We may monitor, review, edit, disable, restrict, refuse, or remove any of Your Content at any time and without prior notice, including for operational integrity of our Services and we shall have no liability to you in respect of any such action. You further grant JioBLAST and its Affiliates the right to use your username, display name, tournament statistics, rankings, gameplay clips, and related publicly available information for the purposes of operating, promoting, and marketing the Platform, including in leaderboards, broadcasts, social media, and promotional materials.

11. Price and Payment Policy

JioBLAST will never charge any fees for participating in the Tournaments but access to certain features of the Platform, including premium Broadcast Content and other value-added services, may be offered on a chargeable basis and require payment of subscription fees or one-time purchase fees. All fees and charges applicable to any Service shall be as specified on the Platform at the time of purchase and shall not be paid for any form of staking, other stakes or wagering. 

JioBLAST may enable multiple payment options for availing paid features, including credit cards, debit cards, net banking, UPI, digital wallets, and such other modes as may be made available from time to time. JioBLAST reserves the right to add or remove any mode of payment without prior notice. All payments shall be made in Indian Rupees only. The Platform will not facilitate transactions with respect to any other form of currency.

While availing any payment method available on the Platform, we will not be responsible or assume any liability whatsoever in respect of any loss or damage arising directly or indirectly due to: (a) lack of authorisation for any transaction; (b) exceeding the preset limit mutually agreed by you and your issuing bank; (c) any payment issues arising out of the transaction; (d) decline of transaction for any other reason; (e) any error, delay, or failure in the processing of any payment by any third-party payment gateway, bank, or financial institution; or (f) any unauthorised access to or breach of any payment system not directly within JioBLAST's control. You acknowledge that all payment transactions are processed through third-party payment service providers and that JioBLAST acts solely as a facilitator.

JioBLAST will not be liable for any credit/debit card fraud or any unauthorised use of your payment credentials. The liability for use of a card or payment instrument fraudulently will be on you and the onus to prove otherwise shall be exclusively on you.

All amounts paid against purchases of Services on the Platform are generally final and non-refundable, except: (a) as may be required under applicable law; (b) as expressly specified in the refund policy for a particular Service; or (c) as provided in the Tournament Terms applicable to a specific Tournament.

12. Fair Play and Compliance

JioBLAST is committed to maintaining the integrity and fairness of esports competitions facilitated through the Platform. You agree to abide by the fair play standards set out in these Terms, the rules of the relevant Tournament, and any codes of conduct published by JioBLAST or Tournament Organisers.

The following conduct is strictly prohibited:

• Use of any software, tool, or mechanism designed to cheat, hack, modify, or otherwise gain an unfair advantage in any Tournament or game;

• Match-fixing, betting, wagering, result manipulation, or collusion with other participants or third parties to influence the outcome of any match or Tournament;

• Impersonation of another User, player, or team, or misrepresentation of eligibility status;

• Unsportsmanlike conduct, harassment, or abuse directed at other participants, officials, or staff;

• Any form of commercial exploitation of Tournament results or outcomes not authorised by JioBLAST; and

• Any other conduct that is not in compliance with applicable law and/or, in JioBLAST's reasonable determination, undermines the integrity of esports competition.

JioBLAST may investigate suspected violations of fair play standards and may, at its discretion, disqualify participants, suspend or terminate accounts, withhold prizes, and take such other remedial or punitive action as may be appropriate. JioBLAST may also report violations to the relevant game publisher, Tournament Organiser, or regulatory authority.

JioBLAST reserves the right to preserve and retain logs, chat records, payment data, gameplay recordings, device information, metadata, and such other records as may be relevant for the purposes set out in the Privacy Policy.

13. Compliance with Gaming Legislation

JioBLAST implements measures as may be required under applicable law, including the Online Gaming Act and the Online Gaming Rules, in relation to the operation of the Platform. Users acknowledge and agree that their use of the Platform is subject to such legislation and any regulations, directions, orders, guidelines, or codes of practice issued thereunder.

Without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing, Users agree to comply with all applicable provisions of the Online Gaming Act and the Online Gaming Rules, including but not limited to any requirements relating to:

1. age verification and eligibility for participation in Tournaments;

2. responsible gaming practices and self-exclusion mechanisms;

3. prohibition on certain categories of games or activities as may be prescribed; 

4. restrictions on deposits, wagering, staking and other stakes, where applicable; and

5. any other requirements imposed on Users or platform participants under the Online Gaming Rules.

JioBLAST reserves the right to restrict, suspend, or terminate access to any Tournament, Service, or the Platform where such action is required by any order, direction, guideline, notification or code of practice issued by the Authority or the Central Government under the Online Gaming Act, the Online Gaming Rules, or by any other competent regulatory authority. Users acknowledge that compliance with such directions may result in changes to the availability, features, or operation of the Services without prior notice to Users.

For the avoidance of doubt, the Services facilitated through the Platform relate exclusively to skill-based esports competition and associated content, where legally permissible under applicable law. JioBLAST does not intend to facilitate, and the Platform is not designed to support, any real-money gaming, wagering, or betting activities.

13A. Compliance with the Digital Media Ethics Code

The Platform operates in compliance with the Digital Media Ethics Code under the IT Rules. JioBLAST adheres to the due diligence requirements, content classification norms, and user safety standards prescribed under the Digital Media Ethics Code, including those applicable to online gaming intermediaries.

Users acknowledge that JioBLAST may, in compliance with the Digital Media Ethics Code, implement content rating mechanisms, age-gating, content moderation, and such other measures as may be prescribed to ensure that Content available through the Platform is appropriately classified and that Users are protected from harmful or inappropriate content.

14. International Users and Cross-Border Participation

14.1 Platform Operated from India

The Platform is owned, operated, and maintained by Jio Platforms Limited(JPL), a company incorporated and registered in India. The Platform is operated exclusively from India, and all Services are provided from India. JioBLAST does not represent, warrant, or undertake that the Platform, the Services, or any content available thereon complies with the laws of any jurisdiction outside the Republic of India.

14.2 International User Responsibility

If you are accessing or using the Platform from outside India ("International User"), you do so voluntarily and at your own risk. You are solely and exclusively responsible for:

(a) determining whether your access to and use of the Platform, including your participation in any Tournament, is lawful under the applicable laws of your country or territory of residence or from which you are accessing the Platform;

(b) complying with all applicable local laws, regulations, and requirements in your jurisdiction, including those relating to online gaming, esports, data protection, foreign exchange, taxation, and consumer protection; and

(c) obtaining any licences, permits, approvals, or consents that may be required under applicable local law for you to access the Platform or participate in any Tournament.

JioBLAST and/or its Affliates shall have no liability whatsoever to any International User arising out of or in connection with such User's failure to comply with applicable local law.

14.3 No Representation of Foreign Law Compliance

JioBLAST and/or JPL make no representation that the Platform or the Services are appropriate, lawful, or available for use in any jurisdiction outside India. The inclusion of any Tournament, feature, or content on the Platform does not constitute a representation by JioBLAST that such Tournament, feature, or content is permissible under the laws of any jurisdiction outside India. International Users who choose to access the Platform do so on their own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local law.

14.4 Consent to Processing in India

By registering on the Platform, each International User expressly and unconditionally:

(a) acknowledges that their personal data will be transferred to, stored in, and processed in India by JioBLAST and its authorised service providers, in accordance with Indian data protection law, including the Information Technology Act, 2000, the SPDI Rules, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025;

(b) consents to such transfer, storage, and processing of their personal data in India; and

(c) acknowledges that Indian data protection law may differ from the data protection law applicable in their jurisdiction and that, by providing consent under this clause, they waive any right to assert against JioBLAST and/or its Affiliates any obligation arising under the data protection or privacy laws of any jurisdiction other than India.

14.5 Governing Law Prevails

Notwithstanding any other law or regulation that may be applicable in an International User's jurisdiction, these Terms are governed exclusively by the laws of the Republic of India, and any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in New Delhi, India. JioBLAST does not submit to the jurisdiction of any foreign court, tribunal, regulatory authority, or data protection supervisory authority in connection with the Platform or the Services.

14.6 Restriction of Access

JioBLAST and/or JPL reserve the right, at their sole discretion and without prior notice or liability, to restrict, suspend, or terminate access to the Platform or any Tournament for users from any jurisdiction where they determine, acting reasonably, that:

(a) the provision of the Services to users in such jurisdiction would expose JioBLAST or JPL to regulatory, legal, or compliance risk under the laws of that jurisdiction; or

(b) applicable law in such jurisdiction prohibits or materially restricts access to the Platform or participation in Tournaments of the nature facilitated through the Platform.

15. Prohibited Conduct

Your use of the Platform is subject to compliance with all applicable laws, including the IT Act, the IT Rules, the Online Gaming Act, the Online Gaming Rules, and all other applicable central and state legislation.

You must not post, transmit, or enable another person to post or transmit via the Platform any information or material, or otherwise use the Platform for any activity which breaches any laws or regulations, infringes a third party's rights or privacy, or is contrary to applicable law.

Without limiting the foregoing, you shall not:

6. use the Platform for any unlawful purpose, including but not limited to cheating, fraud, money laundering, or any form of illegal gambling or wagering;

7. use any automated software, bots, hacks, mods, or any unauthorised third-party software designed to modify or interfere with the Platform;

8. exploit the Platform or any Tournament for any commercial purpose not authorised by JioBLAST;

9. engage in any activity that constitutes match-fixing, collusion, or any other form of manipulation of esports competition outcomes;

10. impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity;

11. use the Platform to distribute harmful, obscene, defamatory, inflammatory, threatening, or otherwise objectionable content;

12. reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, decrypt, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code, underlying algorithms, or structure of the Platform;

13. circumvent, disable, or otherwise interfere with any security-related features of the Platform;

14. use another User's account without authorisation or purchase any accounts from any person;

15. scrape, harvest, crawl, or use any automated means to collect data, content, or information from the Platform;

16. interfere with or disrupt the integrity, performance, or availability of the Platform, or any servers or networks connected thereto; or

17. engage in any other conduct that JioBLAST determines to be harmful to the Platform, its Users, Tournament Organisers, or JioBLAST.

16. No Viruses or Other Interference

You must not transmit or enable another person to transmit via the Platform any virus, worm, trojan, logic bomb, keystroke logger, rootkit, or other malicious code or information, or otherwise use the Platform in a way which: (a) tampers with, hinders the operation of, or makes unauthorised modifications to the Platform; (b) inhibits any other User from using the Platform; (c) defames, harasses, threatens, menaces, or offends any person; (d) contains obscene, indecent, inflammatory, or pornographic material or material that could give rise to civil or criminal proceedings; or (e) imposes an unreasonable or disproportionately large load on the Platform's infrastructure.

17. Responsible Gaming

JioBLAST is committed to promoting responsible gaming practices in compliance with the Online Gaming Act and the Online Gaming Rules. Users are encouraged to:

18. set appropriate time limits on their gaming and tournament activity;

19. avoid activity that may interfere with personal, family, or professional obligations;

20. seek assistance if they believe their gaming behaviour is becoming problematic; and

21. utilise any self-exclusion or cooling-off tools made available on the Platform.

JioBLAST may, in compliance with the Online Gaming Rules and the IT Rules, implement safeguards including session time reminders, self-exclusion mechanisms, awareness information regarding responsible gaming and such other features as may be prescribed or directed by the Authority from time to time. Users agree to comply with any responsible gaming measures implemented on the Platform.

18. Termination or Suspension of Access

We may suspend or terminate your account or access to all or any part of the Platform at any time, with immediate effect and without prior notice or liability, including if: (a) you breach these Terms in our reasonable opinion; (b) you violate any provision of the Online Gaming Act, the Online Gaming Rules, the IT Act, the IT Rules, or any other applicable law; (c) you engage in any fraudulent, abusive, harmful, or suspicious activity on or through the Platform; (d) we are required to do so by any regulatory authority, law enforcement agency, court order, direction from the Authority, or under applicable law; (e) we determine, in our discretion, that your continued access poses a risk to the Platform, other Users, or JioBLAST's or its Affiliates' interests; (f) a partner, Tournament Organiser, app-store operator, or payment provider requires such action; (g) we identify a legal, regulatory, sanctions, or jurisdictional risk associated with your account; or (h) for any other reason that JioBLAST considers necessary for the protection of the Platform or compliance with applicable law. No suspension or termination under this clause shall give rise to any claim for compensation, damages, or refund, except as expressly required by applicable law.

Upon termination or suspension: (i) your right to access the Platform and use the Services shall cease immediately; (ii) any tournament registrations, progress, data, or content associated with your account may be forfeited; (iii) JioBLAST shall have no obligation to refund any amounts paid by you in connection with the Services except as required by applicable law; and (iv) any licences granted to you under these Terms shall automatically and immediately terminate. Provisions relating to indemnity, limitation of liability, intellectual property, disclaimers, governing law, and dispute resolution shall survive any termination or expiry of these Terms.

19. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the Platform (excluding third-party Tournament content and game titles), including its design, text, graphics, applications, software, underlying source code, and all other aspects, belong to JioBLAST and/or its Affiliates.

Copyright: All Content included on the Platform, such as text, graphics, logos, button icons, images, audio clips, digital downloads, data compilations, and software, is the property of JioBLAST, its Affiliates, or its content suppliers and is protected by the appropriate intellectual property laws. Broadcast Content, Tournament footage, and event media may be owned by or licensed from Tournament Organisers, game publishers, or other rights holders, and all rights in such content are reserved to the respective owners.

Trademarks: The trademarks "Jio", “JioGames”, "JioBLAST", their logos, and other service marks and logos are owned by and/or licensed to JioBLAST and/or its Affiliates. There will be certain trademarks of third parties, including Tournament Organisers and game publishers, whose content is made available through the Platform. These marks are used for representation purposes only and JioBLAST does not claim any rights over such trademarks.

No part of the Platform, including audio and video content, Tournament footage, or any other Content, may be reproduced, adapted, modified, or transmitted in any form or by any means, electronic, mechanical, photocopying, recording, or otherwise, without our prior written permission.

Intellectual Property Claims: If you believe that your intellectual property rights have been used in a way that gives rise to concerns of infringement, please write to us with your concerns and we will endeavour to address them.

20. Links

The Platform may provide links to various websites, applications, and services for your convenience only. We have no control over linked websites and/or applications. We do not maintain, sponsor, endorse, or recommend any third-party websites or applications, and shall not be responsible or liable for their content, policies, practices, or any infringement of intellectual property rights. The inclusion of any link does not imply any affiliation with, or endorsement of, the linked site by JioBLAST Your use of those linked sites, mobile software applications, and services is subject to the terms of use and privacy policies of each such website and service.

21. Information Security

We are committed to safeguarding the security and confidentiality of any information you provide to us. We understand that you accept the inherent security implications of providing information over the internet and will not hold us responsible for any breach of security or disclosure of personal information arising from factors outside our reasonable control. If you become aware of any violation of the security of data or the Agreement, please contact us immediately.

The Customer's personally identifiable information will be used only in accordance with the Privacy Policy and to the extent permitted under applicable laws, including the IT Act, the IT Rules, the Online Gaming Act, and the Online Gaming Rules. Data may be shared with Tournament Organisers and other partners in accordance with the Privacy Policy and applicable law.

22. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us, our Affiliates, Tournament Organisers, and other persons involved in the creation and operation of the Platform for all damages, losses, and costs (including legal costs) which arise out of or relate to your use of the Platform or any acts committed by you in violation of applicable laws and this Agreement. This indemnification includes, without limitation, liability relating to copyright infringement, defamation, invasion of privacy, trademark infringement, violation of the Online Gaming Act or the Online Gaming Rules, and any breach of this Agreement.

23. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall JioBLAST, including its Affiliates and their respective owners, directors, officers, employees, agents, shareholders, partners, successors, and assigns, be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever, including without limitation direct, indirect, punitive, incidental, special, exemplary, and consequential damages, lost profits, loss of data, loss of goodwill, business interruption, or damages resulting from the use or inability to use the Platform or any Service, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability, statute, or any other legal theory.

Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, JioBLAST shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance resulting from causes beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, epidemics, pandemics, war, terrorism, riots, government actions, regulatory changes, power failures, internet or telecommunications failures, hardware or software failures, cyberattacks, or any act or omission of any third party (including Tournament Organisers, game publishers, payment processors, or internet service providers).

JioBLAST's aggregate and total liability (whether in contract, tort, negligence, under an indemnity, or by statute or otherwise) shall not exceed INR 1,000/- (Rupees One Thousand) or the last payment made by the User, whichever is lesser, subject to applicable law and as awarded by a competent court.

Without limiting the foregoing, JioBLAST shall not be liable for: (a) any loss arising from the outcome of any Tournament; (b) any loss of tournament progress, points, rankings, or data; (c) any acts, omissions, conduct, or content of any Tournament Organiser or game publisher; or (d) any interruption, delay, failure, or unavailability of any Tournament, Broadcast Content, or Service.

24. Discontinuance of Use

You may elect to discontinue using the Platform and the Services at any time by uninstalling the Application and/or deactivating your account. If your Device is stolen or lost, you must immediately inform JioBLAST to deactivate your account. You will remain responsible for any activities conducted under your account until it is deactivated by JioBLAST. Discontinuance shall not relieve you of any accrued obligations or liabilities under these Terms, and all provisions intended to survive shall continue in full force and effect. The retention of your personal data following discontinuance shall be governed by the Privacy Policy.

25. No Waiver for Breaches

If we do not act or delay in action in relation to a breach of these Terms by you, that should not be construed as a waiver of any of our rights to act in relation to that breach or any later breach by you.

26. Redressal of Grievances

If you have any complaints or concerns with regards to content available through the Platform, to report any abuse of applicable laws, breach of these Terms, or any content available through the Platform that is in violation of your rights, or the Services through the Platform are in violation of the IT Rules, the Online Gaming Act, or the Online Gaming Rules, then you may contact the Grievance Officer by:

22. sending a request in writing or through email signed with electronic signature identifying the content alleged to be in infringement of your rights as the rightful owner or affecting you prejudicially;

23. providing your contact information including email address, physical address, and telephone number where you can be contacted if required; and

24. giving a declaration cum undertaking along with necessary documents establishing your standing and stating that the information submitted is true, complete, and accurate.

Grievance Redressal under the Online Gaming Rules: Where your grievance relates to matters governed by the Online Gaming Act and the Online Gaming Rules, you may invoke the grievance redressal mechanism prescribed under the Online Gaming Rules. Such grievances shall be acknowledged within the timeframes prescribed under the Online Gaming Rules and shall be resolved in accordance with the procedure set out therein. Where the grievance remains unresolved within the prescribed period, or where you are dissatisfied with the resolution provided, you may escalate the matter to the Authority.

The Grievance Officer shall address your complaint in accordance with the timelines prescribed under the IT Rules and the Online Gaming Rules, as applicable.

27. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

If a dispute arises regarding these Terms, the laws of the Republic of India shall apply, including the IT Act, the IT Rules, the Online Gaming Act, the Online Gaming Rules, and all other applicable legislation. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in New Delhi, India.

28. Inconsistent Terms

If there is an inconsistency between these Terms and any other terms displayed on individual pages of the Platform ("Other Terms"), the Other Terms will govern to the extent of the inconsistency. JioBLAST reserves the right to correct any ambiguities, omissions, or errors in these Terms by amending or updating them and/or by issuing clarifications as may be necessary.

29. Disclaimer

JioBLAST is a technology service provider operating as an intermediary. It is a platform that facilitates access to esports Tournaments and related content made available by independent third-party Tournament Organisers, game publishers, and content providers. JioBLAST does not itself develop, publish, or distribute the underlying games in respect of which Tournaments are conducted, except where expressly stated. Users are advised to review the terms and conditions of the relevant Tournament Organiser or game publisher prior to registering for any Tournament. Users shall have recourse against the Tournament Organiser or game publisher for any breach of conditions, representations, or warranties, and JioBLAST expressly disclaims any and all responsibility and liability in that regard.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all liability for any errors or omissions contained in the information on the Platform, or any failure to update or correct this information. The Services provided through the Platform are provided on an "as-is" and "with all faults and risks" basis and without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted under law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or that use of the Services will be uninterrupted or error-free.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, we and our Affiliates, and their respective employees, officers, directors, agents, contractors, successors, and assigns, exclude all liability for any loss or damage (including without limitation, indirect, special, incidental, consequential, punitive, or exemplary loss or damage, loss of profits, loss of revenue, loss of data, loss of opportunity, or loss of goodwill) arising from the use of, or reliance upon, the Platform or any content thereon.

We expressly reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to suspend, change, modify, add, or remove portions of the Platform and to restrict or terminate the use and accessibility of the Platform at any time without prior notice or liability. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by any court or tribunal of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect, and the invalid provision shall be deemed modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable.
